How did we
get the name?
FROGMAT was established in 1994 as a manufacturer and supplier of a range of landcare products used in the environmental rehabilitation industry. One of the products was a soil stabilisation matting manufactured in the Western Australian wheatbelt from recycled cereal straw. It was used to stabilise and revegetate constructed earthen embankments, sand dune restoration and in the mining industry.
The manufacturing plant used to make soil stabilization matting was developed in the United Kingdom by a Mr Ken Frogbrook. Hence the name FROGMAT.
